Marketing Manager – Account Growth

Beacon provides trial and drug intelligence to biotech and pharma companies, helping them to make better and faster R&D decisions and keep up with the pace of preclinical and clinical research developments.
We’re looking for an ambitious and self-driven marketing manager to lead our account-based marketing strategy to drive growth across our key accounts, utilising the full marketing mix.
About the role:
Over the last several years Beacon has grown significantly and with a customer base of several hundred pharma and Biotech brands we are looking for a marketer to join our team to manage the communications and campaigns to this group of existing users.
Role works across all Beacon modules and involves:
- Planning, managing and executing Beacon’s Account Marketing Strategy to ensure we retain our current customers and grow their account value.
- Create specific conversion and nurture customer journeys to aid new business amongst against customer base
- Develop retention campaigns and strategies to ensure our 90% renewal rates remains
- Create, manage and execute cross sell and upsell campaigns to our existing clients across our range of 12 products
- Work closely with Sales to develop the sales support and collateral needed to meet our commercial goals
- Collaborate with research teams to create bespoke and personalised customer content
- Manage customer comms to ensure effective engagement and knowledge amongst users
- Support account-based event strategy
- Work with colleagues to support product development and ensure customers have the training information they need to effectively search and find what they need – including onboarding and wider training tools
- Run customer satisfaction surveys – develop users feedback loop and be the internal voice of the customers
- Contribute to wider cross-functional projects on behalf of the marketing function
A successful candidate would be able to demonstrate
- Minimum of 3 years B2B marketing experience working with subscription products
- 1+ year of Account Based Marketing Experience
- Degree level education, ideally with some marketing modules
- Life science knowledge an advantage but not required
- Skilled in marketing tech – including Salesforce, Pardot or Sendgrid
- Experience of working closely with sales

£38,000-£42,000 +bonus
