Marketing Executive

We’re looking for an ambitious and self-driven marketing executive, eager to learn and develop their career, working in a fast paced and growing team, looking after multiple products and campaigns, utilising the full marketing mix.

About the role:

As a marketing executive, you will implement the plans and ideas of the Senior Marketing Manager across multiple products, including activities related to website, social media and email channels, to support the wider commercial goals of the business, working closely with the Product and Sales Teams.

Activities will include:

  • Implementing, testing and measuring multi-channel marketing campaigns to support the business growth and generate trackable ROI
  • Maintaining operational marketing (i.e. website maintenance, service-level deliveries, digital marketing brand awareness) for Beacon products from a new business and account basis
  • Supporting Product marketing communications, Planning your weekly, monthly and quarterly marketing activities according to the business priorities and content calendar
  • Executing content marketing strategy for Beacon products and executing on them with Beacon Research support
  • Managing data, segmentation and email marketing across a range of Beacon products
  • Improving existing processes and developing the marketing teams functions
  • Working cross collaboratively with wider business unit, including Hanson Wade events and our wider Intelligence dept, to support activity when aligned to Beacon
  • Collaborating with sales team members on account-based marketing and product / research teams on product marketing – including brochures, presentations and collateral
  • Tracking budgets and costs associated with the products to determine effective ROI
  • Planning and coordinating project teams and meetings for your respective products
  • Contributing to wider cross-functional projects on behalf of the marketing function
  • Supporting or delivering with training to new starters
  • Management of external agencies and project budgets

Skills and Behaviours

  • Experience in a subscription or services marketing role in the life sciences sector (desired)
  • Track record of successfully running marketing campaigns and tracking ROI
  • Effective time management and prioritisation of short and long-term projects
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Able to apply copywriting principles to external marketing communications
  • Data driven, digital first approach
  • Commercially minded
  • Excitement about driving commercial results through marketing
  • Experience of marketing tech stack including, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Pardot, Linkedin Campaign Manager, Google Ad Manager

£27,000- £30,000 + 20% bonus
