Event Coordinator

Over the last few months, we’ve experienced rapid growth within the business and our Customer Delivery team. With the introduction of Hybrid events into 2022 on top of physical and digital events, we are looking to recruit three permanent, tech literate Event Coordinators with a ‘can do’ attitude to join our expanding team in January.


The Role:

This role is primarily responsible for end to end delivery of a mixture of physical, digital and hybrid events for the European and US market, up to 2-3 per month. Ranging in size and logistical complexity, you will partner with key stakeholders and lead on the planning, development, and delivery of our events to create a memorable and unique experience for each customer.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with all customer types throughout the event life cycle;          delegates, speakers and sponsors
  • Source, contract and brief all event suppliers: including but not limited to AV, Technology, Signage, Hostesses 
  • Campaign cost control: negotiate, monitor and record all direct operational costs and speaker expense
  • Budget management
  • Work extensively with conference hotel, including but not limited to: costs,  set up, catering, WiFi etc.
  • Run the event on the day (unsociable hours and travel will be required)
  • Build events on our digital platform
  • Set up event apps for larger events and hybrid events
  • Create and maintain post event content sharing website
  • Work closely with campaign project team to deliver on key goals and  objectives of the campaign
  • Support other members of the EO function as and when necessary
  • May be required to assist with Customer Service and venue sourcing duties    where necessary


        The ideal candidate:

        • Must have event management experience
        • Must have achieved a 2:1 degree or above (within Events Management or Business)
        • Must have experience with virtual event software (Hopin preferred)
        • Have experience working with customers of all different levels of seniority
        • Must have organisational experience at a professional level
        • Must have a strong passion for event management
        • Must have outstanding communication skills
        • Will be highly efficient and have an organised approach to your workload
        • Will have the ability to work well under pressure and deal with high work volumes
        • Will be able to adapt and change priorities according to immediate business needs
        • Will be able to work as part of a team as well as independently
        • Eligibility to Work in the UK

        £22,000 – £27,000 dependant on experience + Bonus
